Denver, Colo. based company founded in 1929 by engineer, Luke E. Smith. Smith designed a crane and shovel mounted on a truck for easier mobility. This was an improvement over more traditional crawler-mounted shoves used for excavating. The Quick-Way Truck Shovel Company also provided equipment to the U.S. military during the Korean War (1950-1953). The company ceased operations in 1961, when it was sold to Marion Power Shovel Co.
